Wonderhop's 120 survey questions for game night
Wonderhop's daily game runs on questions with many sensible answers and no single right
one. These 120 free survey questions are written in the same spirit: read one aloud,
let everyone write an answer, then discover how differently a room full of people
thinks.
How to run a survey game at home
-
Pick a question. Read it once, slowly, then once more. Broad prompts
work best: anything with a dozen plausible answers gets a table talking.
-
Everyone writes an answer. Keep it to one or two words and give the
table thirty seconds. No debating until all pens are down.
-
Reveal together. Ask for answers one at a time and tally repeats as
you go. The biggest cluster is that round's most popular answer.
-
Score and move on. Two points for matching the most popular answer,
one for sharing any answer, zero for a unique one. Seven questions make a round.
Hosting tips
- Play in pairs or small teams so quieter players get an answer in.
- Choose questions from two or three different themes to keep energy up.
- Write answers down before revealing: the fun is in the simultaneous reveal.
- Keep a tie-breaker question ready, and keep rounds to about twenty minutes.
- Award a bonus point for the strangest valid answer, if your table likes chaos.

Wonderhop turns this party format into a two-minute daily ritual. The survey board
powers two free games: Sky rewards the most common answer and
Abyss rewards the rarest. The dated board powers
Past and Future, where the oldest or newest answer wins. If
you want the full rules first, read how to play Wonderhop;
if you are stuck on today's board, the hint and answer page
is spoiler-shielded, and every past day sits in the archive.
One spoiler-free note
This page contains questions only — no answers, no percentages and no reference to
today's board. Wonderhop's daily answers change at 00:00 UTC and are estimated in
advance, so the list you print for game night will never give a daily puzzle away. Treat
it as a warm-up, not a cheat sheet.
Survey questions: frequently asked questions
Are these the same questions Wonderhop asks each day?
No. This is an evergreen list written in the same style as Wonderhop's daily survey questions, for playing at home. The daily board is separate, changes every day at 00:00 UTC and carries its own ranked answers.
How do you score a survey game at home?
Agree a scoring rule before the first question. A simple one: everyone writes an answer, then two points go to each player who matched the most popular answer, one point for sharing any other answer and none for a unique one. Seven questions make a round.
Can I print this question list for a party?
Yes. The list is free to print and share for personal, classroom and family use. There is no sign-up, no account and no attribution required.
Is the list family-friendly?
Yes. Every question is written for all ages: no adult themes, no politics, no personal data and no need to own anything beyond pen and paper.
